A Storybook Cottage Deserves a Master Craftsman

Project Scope:

Main Home: 1,996 SF

Walkout Basement: 633

Garage: 431 SF

We're rebuilding our home in Altadena after the Eaton Fire and are looking for a

builder who truly enjoys craftsmanship and wants to work collaboratively

throughout the process.

Our home includes several architectural details that are very important to us, and

we're looking for a builder who takes pride in executing traditional craftsmanship

with precision.

What We're Looking For

● A collaborative builder who enjoys working closely with homeowners

throughout the build.

● Exceptional attention to detail and finish quality.

● Experience with traditional and custom architectural homes.

● Strong trim, plaster, and finish carpentry capabilities.

● Excellent communication and transparent project management.

● Project Highlights

● Authentic Janes Cottage architecture.

● Dramatic storybook-style roof (roofing will be completed by our own

specialized roofing contractor).

● Barrel-vaulted ceiling in the living room.

● Coved ceilings throughout the home (excluding the kitchen).

● Walkout basement integrated into the design.

● Masonry fireplace and numerous custom architectural details.

●Finishes requiring careful execution and high-quality workmanship.

We're less interested in finding the biggest builder and more interested in finding

the right builder, someone who values craftsmanship, communicates well, and

enjoys creating homes with lasting character.

If your team specializes in high-quality custom homes and appreciates the finer

details that make historic-inspired architecture special, we'd love to hear from you.
